Grants to American Samoa, Guam, Virgin Islands, Northern Mariana Islands, The Federated States of Micronesia, Marshall Islands, and Republic of Palau Agencies, IHEs, and nonprofits for projects that protect and sustain the coral reef. Highest priority will be given to projects that address affects of climate change on coral reef systems.

The period of performance for the majority of projects funded under this program is 12 to 36 months.

- Past and present recipients of awards under this program are eligible but must submit new proposals to compete for funding each year unless multi-year funding has been awarded.
