Grants of up to $1,000 to New York nonprofit organizations in eligible communities for programs that address specific, critical, local needs. Funding is intended for a wide range of activities and is usually limited to capital expenditures, such as special projects, equipment purchases, and program enhancements. Projects must benefit residents of Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, Tuckahoe, and Yonkers.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
The Junior League of Bronxville’s (JLB) Community Grants Program is open to eligible 501(c)(3) organizations that benefit the JLB’s service area of Bronxville, Eastchester, Mount Vernon, Tuckahoe, and Yonkers.
Limitations:
- Grants are not made for the purpose of salaries or to provide general operating support for the agency.
- The Fund is not a vehicle for ongoing support.
Pre-Application Information
The deadline to apply is November 1, 2022.
A committee will review the submissions and announce the selected recipients on February 15, 2023.
Only one application per organization will be considered. Upon return of the signed Letter of Agreement from the Agency to the JLB, funds will be disbursed by check by March 15, 2023.
Grant recipients are welcome to attend and participate in the JLB's Service & Scholarship Celebration on April 26, 2023, in Bronxville, to let the membership know how the funds were used by the recipient organization. This participation is completely voluntary and not a requirement for receiving the grant funds.
Estimated Size of Grant
Generally the approved grants range from $150 to $1,000.
