Grants ranging from $150 to $2,000 to New York nonprofits for programs that benefit women and girls in the communities of Mount Vernon, Yonkers, Eastchester, Tuckahoe, and Bronxville. Funding is intended to address the immediate and specific needs related to the alleviation of hunger, the improvement of nutrition, or the improvement of the health and/or welfare of girls or women within the communities served.

Funding is generally limited to special projects, equipment purchases, and program enhancements.

Generally, the approved grants range from $150 to $2,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The requesting agency must be a 501(c)3 organization that serves the area of the Junior League of Bronxville (Yonkers, Mount Vernon, Eastchester, Tuckahoe and Bronxville).

Grants are not made for the purpose of salaries or to provide general operating support for the agency.

Grants are made on a one-time basis and only one application per organization will be considered.

The Community Grant Fund is not a vehicle for on-going support.

Pre-Application Information:

The Junior League of Bronxville will be accepting Community Grant Applications for 2018 starting December 1, 2017.

If your organization would like to apply, please access the application and instructions below, or you may contact Mitzi Ambrose Washington (at the contact email address below), and an application and instructions will be forwarded to you. The deadline for submission is Monday, February 26, 2018. Applicants must be postmarked by this date.

All applying agencies will be notified of the decision of the Junior League of Bronxville by April 15, 2018.

Incomplete applications will not be considered.
