Grants of up to $1,000 to New York nonprofit organizations for programs addressing specific, urgent community needs within eligible regions. Previous grants have supported food banks, health clinics, child care centers, and community support programs. Funding is generally limited to special projects and program enhancements. Projects must benefit residents of Bronxville, Eastchester, Mt. Vernon, Tuckahoe and Yonkers.

Eligible Applicants:
The requesting agency must be a 501(c)(3) organization that benefits the service area of the Junior League of Bronxville’s service area (Bronxville, Eastchester, Mt. Vernon, Tuckahoe and Yonkers).

- Grants are not made for the purpose of salaries or to provide general operating support for the agency.
- The Fund is not a vehicle for on-going support.

Pre-Application Information:

Application Deadline: Friday, January 31, 2020
Applicants will be notified of the decision of the JLB by March 16, 2020.

Grants are made on a one-time basis and only one application per organization will be considered.

If the JLB grants a portion of the funds requested for a specific purchase or program enhancement, the grant will be contingent upon proof that the applicant has secured total funding prior to April 1, 2020.

Funds will be disbursed by check at the Fund's General Membership Meeting on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
