Description:

Request a Grant Writer

Grants to Washington nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to address community needs, including those related to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. Funding is intended for projects and activities within the focus areas of conservation and environment, arts and culture, health, recreation, community development, and social service. Priority for funding will be granted to programs that serve the needs of the Mercer Island community at large.

In 2021, in addition to more traditional community-building grants, the Fund plans to award grants in two additional areas: COVID-19 relief grants; and grants to fund programs, events, and organizations that address issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion in Mercer Island.

Fund will consider supplemental funding to established organizations for special projects not funded by other sources. Initial funding assistance for new organizations and projects will also be considered.
