Grants of up to $750 to USA teachers, groups, individuals, and program directors to enhance K-12 science and meteorology learning. Funding is intended to enable teachers and educators to attend workshops, purchase equipment, and expand programs to improve education for their students, schools, and communities.
The Grant is intended to allow teachers to:
Purchase scientific materials and/or equipment for the classroom, school or community.
Begin new school and/or community science outreach and education programs.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Applicant must be a citizen of the United States of America, or a permanent legal resident.
Teachers, program directors, school district supervisors and other individuals or groups proposing to improve the education of K-12 students in meteorology may submit an application.
The school or organization must be a publicly recognized and/or accredited in the United States.
Pre-Application Information
The project/proposal has to be approved by the school principal or equivalent type of supervisor as explained in the online procedures. Completed applications must be submitted no later than 11:59 PM CDT, 8 June 2021, and the principal or supervisor must be approved by 11:59 PM CDT, 10 June 2021. Applications can be started early and saved online and submitted when all required information is gathered and completed.
The grant money may be awarded up to $750, if a suitable recipient is available, and to one or more teachers/educators to cover qualified education expenses.
