Grants to Georgia nonprofits, agencies, schools, institutions of higher education, and religious organizations for programs that will improve the quality of life in Barnesville and Lamar County. Funding is intended for projects that address emerging community issues and help nonprofit organizations carry out their charitable objectives.

Term of Contract:

All grant funds must be expended by November 15th of the year in which the grant is awarded.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

501(c)3 nonprofits organizations, schools, government entities, higher education institutions, or religious organizations may apply for non-sectarian community projects in Barnesville-Lamar County.

Grants will be made only to organizations for projects serving Lamar County residents.

Applicants who wish to apply must have a final report on file with the Community Foundation for all previously awarded grants, if applicable.

Lamar Gives 365 will consider applications from faith-based organizations only for non-sectarian, community outreach programs.

Ongoing operational expenses are unlikely to be funded.

Pre-Application Information:

- November 30 at 12:00 PM (noon): Application deadline
- First Thursday in February — Grant Finalist Event & Recipient Presentations

Do not wait until the week of the deadline to register. Once your registration is processed, complete the application. You will be required to upload the following documents as PDF files.
