Grants to Yukon lower- and middle-income senior citizens for personal financial assistance. Funding is intended to help defray the costs of generating indoor heat during the coldest months of the year. Applicants may be homeowners or renters. The grant amount will be determined according to income level, marital status, and residential address. Heating can be oil, electricity, wood, propane, or wood pellets. Grant amounts are larger for those outside of Whitehorse city limits.

Yukoners must apply every year.

In person at the Income Support Unit at 3168 - 3rd Avenue in Whitehorse. Or one of the Regional Services Offices in the communities.
