Grants of up to $10,000 to Arkansas, Louisiana, Texas, Oklahoma, and New Mexico nonprofit organizations to enhance youth baseball and softball programming throughout the funding source's home territory. Eligible uses of funds include equipment needs, field renovations, league development, and uniforms.

The Texas Rangers Baseball Foundation is committed to supporting the growth of the sport and making sure that every child is afforded the opportunity to experience joy and community through baseball and softball. This grant is designed to continue to build baseball and softball by providing funding for the above listed items throughout Texas Rangers home territory.

Estimated Size of Grant:

All requests for funding must be in the amount of $10,000 or less.

Term of Contract:

This grant program does not fund multi-year grants.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- You must be designated as 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization as defined by the Internal Revenue code.
- Grants will only be awarded to eligible organizations that operate in the Texas Rangers home territory which includes Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Texas, and New Mexico only.
- Grants will not be made to individuals, churches, or to national organizations that do not have local, financially-independent chapters.
- Grants will not be made for political campaigns or fundraising events, including the purchase of tables, tickets or advertisements.
- Funding is limited to organizations supporting baseball and softball for children ages 18 and under. However, this grant is not intended to support travel expenses and tournament fees.
- If an organization is awarded a grant, that specific local organization will be ineligible for an award for a period of one year.

Pre-Application Information:

- Grant Recipients Announcement: September 2018

Recipients will be invited to a 2018 Rangers home game for a special on field check presentation, and will have a check presentation at their facilities during the winter of 2018/2019.
