Grant Description
Grants of up to $5,000 to North Carolina nonprofit organizations in eligible locations to provide educational or professional opportunities for staff members. Funding is intended to support training for key staff members of independent cultural, educational, or charitable organizations. Staff members must have had at least one year of service to the organization. Eligible applicants are located in and serve Gaston County. Preference is given to training that is local/in-state.


Additional Eligibility Criteria
Grants will be awarded to independent charitable, cultural, or educational organizations.

Governmental agencies are not eligible for grants. Neither churches nor private schools can apply unless the duties of the individual applicant are clearly and totally in community programs as opposed to internal programs of the church or school.

Deadline: July 10 2023 at 11:59 PM EDT (Midnight)

- Organizations that recieve the grant will not be eligible to apply for the grant cycle the following year.

Estimated Size of Grant
The maximum amount awarded in this year will be $5,000.
