Alberta Music Education Foundation (AMEF)
Grants of up to $1,500 to Alberta nonprofit organizations and agencies to promote, deliver or encourage participation in music education, workshops, camps, festivals, and programs. Priority will be given to organizations serving communities with limited resources for Music Education projects. All supported events must be open to the public.

A qualified donee can be:
-Registered charity (including a registered national arts service organization)
-Registered Canadian amateur athletic association
-Registered housing corporation resident in Canada constituted exclusively to provide low-cost housing for the aged
-Registered Canadian municipality
-Registered municipal or public body performing a function of government in Canada
-Registered university outside Canada that is prescribed to be a university, the student body of which ordinarily includes students from Canada
-Registered charitable organization outside Canada to which Her Majesty in right of Canada has made a gift
-Her Majesty in right of Canada, a province, or a territory
-The United Nations and its agencies
Please ensure events requiring funding are scheduled a minimum of 8 weeks after submission deadlines to allow for board review and determinations.
AMEF encourages all organizations seeking grant monies to have additional fundraising objectives to support their endeavors.
Applicants will be advised no later than 7 weeks after the deadline date.
