Grants of up to $10,000 to Southwest Pennsylvania nonprofit organizations for programs and projects that improve childhood food security and alleviate hunger in eligible regions. Previous grant recipients include faith-based organizations, an early childhood education and family support organization, a community center, and youth meal programs. Eligible organizations serve residents of Allegheny, Beaver, Butler, Fayette, Greene, Washington, and Westmoreland Counties.
- Qualified nonprofits may receive funding for no more than 3 years in a row.
- An organization may receive grants for up to three years (with a new application each year). Then the organization will need to take a two year break before applying again.
