Award to a Florida individual or organization to recognize their advocacy for school counseling services in a school setting. This award is intended to recognize efforts that have had a significant and positive impact on school counselors and school counseling services on a local, state, or national level. Criteria for recognition includes exemplary support of school counseling services, outstanding promotion of school counseling services, implementation of new/additional school counseling services, and improvement of existing school counseling services.

Eligibility for Consideration:

- Nominee may be a school board member, parent, teacher, community leader or organization who has consistently made a significant contribution to the improvement of school counseling services in the school setting.
- Nominee does not need to be a member of FSCA.

Pre-Application Information:

Nomination packets should include three letters of recommendations, one of which needs to be a letter of testimony from the nominating School Counselor, resume of the nominee, and personal contact information of the nominator.
