Grants to Greater Manchester area, New Hampshire nonprofits and government agencies for programs and projects benefiting women who are low-income residents aged 65 and over. Programs should support health, housing, and in-home services. Funding is generally awarded to programs benefiting aged and needy women, with an emphasis on housing and in-home services, including transportation, deliveries, in-home nursing care, home visits, and other supports that help enable older women to remain in their own homes.

For the purposes of these grants, the greater Manchester area includes Manchester, Bedford, Goffstown, Hooksett, Londonderry, Litchfield, Candia, and Auburn.

The amount of available grant support varies based on the proposal.

Grants in recent years have ranged from $4,000 to over $100,000.

Must be recognized as tax-exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, or be a municipality or other subdivision of government.

Organizations that do not have public charity status may apply for grants if another public charity acts as a fiscal sponsor.
