Grants to USA nonprofit organizations for projects addressing financial education. Funding is intended for projects that make the topic of economics more interesting and for material that can easily be taught in schools and colleges, as well as in other settings. Special consideration will be given to programs that match grant support with funds from other organizations, learning institutions, universities, colleges, and government sources.

Foundation’s current funding interest includes but is not limited to:

    • The delivery of economic education to youth in non-school settings
    • Behavioral economics with a focus on environmental issues
    • Economic education initiatives to under-served communities in the local states
    • On-line competitions
    • Entrepreneurship education
    • Marketing capabilities to serve more population in economic education
    • Programs to generate more excitement for economic and financial education
    • Economic education programs in a recently mandated state

    Estimated Size of Grant:

    The Kazanjian Foundation makes grants of $10,000 to $25,000 on average.

    Additional Eligibility Criteria:

    Only 501(C ) (3) nonprofit organizations with at least 5 years of history may be eligible to submit a letter of interest.

    The Foundation does not support programs outside of the United States.

    Pre-Application Information:

    You may submit a LOI any time throughout the year. However, the recommended deadline to submit your LOI to meet the grant cycles is March 10th or September 10th.

    The LOIs selected and approved by the Foundation board of directors may receive an invitation to submit a full proposal.
