Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $5,000 to Fox Valley Region, Wisconsin nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools for programs to assist those with developmental disabilities. Applicants must first discuss their proposal with the Foundation before applying. Organizations must serve residents of the Foundation’s service area including Outagamie, Calumet, Shawano, Waupaca and/or northern Winnebago counties.

Funding is intended to support new and existing programs or services that address the recreational, social, and educational needs of people with developmental disabilities and other handicapping conditions.

Priority will be given to innovative direct service programs or projects that promote independence, productivity, respect, and inclusion for all individuals with developmental disabilities and their families.

Funding areas include:
-Small capital investments including equipment for agencies to assist clients with developmental disabilities
-Recurring activities such as camps, competitions, or non-fundraising events

The Foundation’s grant programs will consider supporting speaker costs for community education events when determined to be closely aligned with, or have an immediate impact on, a Foundation priority. Educational events that also serve to raise funds for the organizing agency may be considered but will be given greater scrutiny.
