Scholarships of $10,000 to USA college and graduate students undertaking coursework and degree programs related to sustainable and organic agriculture during the upcoming school year. The purpose of this program is to support students who are interesting in sustainable farming practices.


There will be 15 winners.


Grants will support coursework taking place during the 2017/2018 school year.

Annie’s Sustainable Agriculture Scholarship Program is open to full-time undergraduate and graduate students studying at an accredited 2 or 4 year college or graduate school in the U.S. for the 2017/2018 school year.

Students must be focusing studies on sustainable agriculture.

International students may apply as long as they are studying at a U.S. school.

Students whose coursework and extra-curricular activities are related to sustainable agriculture are welcome to apply.

Applications must be postmarked between November 8, 2016 and January 6, 2017.

If you are chosen to receive an award, you will be notified by April 7, 2017, and funds will be dispersed directly to your school by July 28, 2017.

Guidelines, Eligibility, and FAQ:

The application must include two letters of recommendation from someone who can speak to your commitment to Sustainable Agriculture. The letters of recommendation must be from contacts that are NOT related to you (professional or academic references are preferred). Letters of recommendation should be in a sealed envelope on letterhead if coming from an academic reference, and the recommendation writer should sign the sealed envelope.
