Grants ranging between $3,000 to $15,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations for programs that benefit and care for animals, either wild or domesticated. Funding is awarded for both program support and general operating support. Priority will be given to programs that:

- Provide care for domestic animals that are abandoned or ill. The funds should be used for the purposes of providing food, shelter, and care for the animals.

- Provide habitat for wild animals. Preference will be given to programs that provide habitat for endangered or threatened species.

The average grant size is between $3,000 – $15,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Trustees will consider all qualified applications received from organizations that are exempt from taxation under the Internal Revenue Code Section 501(c)(3). If you are a 509 (a)(3) Supporting Organization, please be prepared to provide additional information.

The Foundation generally restricts its funding to the State of Florida.

No grants will be paid to organizations that euthanize healthy animals. Grants should not be spent on administration purposes.

Pre-Application Information:

The Foundation’s Trustees meet annually in December. November 1st is the deadline for submitting grant proposals to be considered at the annual meeting.
