Foundation / Corporation
Wyoming Community Foundation (WYCF) - Wyoming Wildlife Foundation (WWF)
Grants of up to $5,800 to Wyoming nonprofits and agencies for projects addressing the wild bear population and issues related to bears in Wyoming. Priority is given to projects with established partnerships, matching funds, highest wildlife impact, management relevance, and appropriate budgets.
Funding may support research, habitat protection, education, and other projects for all species of bears. Projects will be evaluated based on the likelihood of success, project readiness, availability of matching funds, significance at local/state/regional level, duration of benefits, and adequacy of monitoring.
GrantWatch ID#: 174489
Grant requests of more than $5,800 will not be considered.
To be eligible for support, your organization or institution, as well as the purpose of the proposed project, must qualify as charitable under the regulations of the United States Internal Revenue Service (IRS).
Please note: Out‐of‐state organizations are welcome to submit a proposal, but only if the project is clearly linked to Wyoming’s wildlife.
Funding is not provided directly to individuals.
