Prizes to USA, Canada, and International young adults for outstanding videos that promote sustainability and inclusivity. To enter, youth (born between 1991 and 1998) will create a short video containing a message about sustainable development for the future. The winners of best videos will receive the following as part of their reward:

-A UNIDO certificate
-A round-trip from home country to the UNIDO Headquarters in Vienna, Austria
-Accommodation and health insurance in Vienna (from 20th November to 26th November 2016)
-UNIDO 50th invitation
-A grant

UNIDO’s 50th Anniversary Time Capsule Competition is open to creative young people around the world (born between 1991 and 1998), who are interested in addressing the issue of sustainability for a more inclusive future.

Applicant Pre-Selection Requirements:
-Applicant must be born between 1991 and 1998
-Must provide one video of up to 60 seconds (format: full HD, .mpeg, .mov) in English
-Must provide one written statement (of up to 300 words and in English)
-Both assignments must address the specified questions

Selected Applicants Must:
-Be able to travel to Vienna (from 20th to 26th of November)
-Possess a valid passport for the duration of the visit and six months beyond the period of the trip
-Be able to apply for and obtain a visa
-Be able to support themselves financially during the duration of the stay in Vienna
-Prepare a 10-minute presentation about their video to be delivered at the award ceremony

In addition to the application form (attached below), contestants are required to submit a video message about their hopes, dreams, and concerns with inclusive and sustainable industrial development, in a world where the 2030 agenda for sustainable development has been achieved.

Video Guidelines:

-The video can be no longer than 60 seconds
-Should be accompanied by a statement of up to 300 words outlining the ideas addressed in the video
-All videos will be stored in a time capsule, which will be kept at the United Nations Headquarters in Vienna and be re-opened in November 2030.

Winners will be announced by November 3, 2016.
