Grants to Connecticut nonprofit organizations in eligible regions for programs to benefit underserved communities. Funding is intended to support programs in the areas of healthcare, education, culture, and human services. Eligible organizations must serve the residents of New London.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
Nonprofit organizations are welcome to apply.
The Foundation does not provide support for endowment campaigns.
The Foundation typically does not provide support for start-up nonprofits or programs that are not yet established.
The application deadline for the Frank Loomis Palmer Fund is November 15.
Please submit online applications by 11:59 p.m. on the day of the foundation’s deadline date. If the deadline falls on a weekend or a federally recognized holiday, applications are due on the next business day by 11:59 p.m.
Applicants will be notified of grant decisions by letter within 3 to 4 months after the proposal deadline.
Applicants will not be awarded a grant for more than 3 consecutive years.
Term of Contract
The majority of grants from the Palmer Fund are 1 year in duration. On occasion, multi-year support is awarded.
