The Allyn Family Foundation, as a local, community-based funder, believes in an engaged and proactive approach to philanthropy. The Foundation's approach to grant making focuses on commitments that enable it to invest in long-term strategies and partnerships that strengthen families and communities. The Foundation works from the premise that solutions to community issues must come from the community, both its individuals and its institutions. By collaborating with other funders, governmental agencies, individuals and organizations, the Foundation works to address real problems and real solutions by leveraging collective assets.
Please note that the Allyn Family Foundation makes grants in the focus areas of Early Childhood, Community Prosperity and Women’s Health by invitation only.
The Foundation does accept grant applications outside of the three main focus areas as part of the reactive grant making program.
