Grants of up to $2,000 to USA organizations that provide swimming lessons and water safety programs to benefit individuals with autism. Funding must be used for scholarship funds. Preference will be given to applicants whose programs demonstrate a strong past of supporting individuals with autism and providing services to financially disadvantaged children and adults on the autism spectrum.

Up to $2,000 in scholarship funds will be awarded to organizations on a quarterly basis.
Organizations in the USA that provide qualified swimming and water safety lessons specifically for individuals with autism are encouraged to apply.
Funding is given out on a quarterly basis. To be considered for each quarter in 2017, please have your applications in by May 5th, August 7th, and November 10th. Organizations may be granted up to four quarters, depending on how often the swimming and water safety program runs.
Important Note: Individuals on the autism spectrum and their families may not apply for the program. However, Autism Speaks encourages families to contact local organizations providing swimming lessons and ask them to submit an application.
