Grants for Indiana charitable projects to benefit the needs of Whitley County residents. The Foundation is specifically interested in innovative programs that offer long-term solutions. Preference will be given to projects that emphasize the following areas: arts and culture,health, civic affairs, recreation, community development, welfare, and education. The Foundation is particularly interested in ideas that address local needs and provide innovative, long-term solutions.

Unless there is compelling evidence that such support is vital to the success of a program meeting priority needs, the Foundation is unlikely to support; Annual Campaigns, Political Activities, Private Schools, Advertising, Religions and/or Sectarian Causes, Organizations outside our service area, and Debt Retirement.

Grant reviews are scheduled twice a year, in May and December. The deadline for submitting applications is the first of that month, but applicants are encouraged to submit proposals well in advance.
