Grants of up to $500 to Nebraska K-12 educators to supply schools with new reading materials that will excite and challenge students. Educators may use funds to purchase books for the school library, classrooms, specific literacy, projects, or online reading programs. Proposals will be judged according to the following criteria:

-The potential to influence a school or district improvement goal
-The number of students impacted
-How it relates to classroom instruction
-Cost effectiveness

Up to $500

Any employee of a public, private, charter or parochial school, grades K-12 in Nebraska may apply for Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation.

Educators from the same school may submit proposals for different programs.

NOTE: Grant requests for iPads will not be accepted.

-Application Period: January 1, 2017 - October 1, 2017
-Recipients notified no later than November 15, 2017
-Funds awarded no later than December 15, 2017
