Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,000 to Nebraska K-12 educators of public, private, parochial, or nonprofit schools to support innovative projects, programs, and events to improve the classroom learning experience. Proposals will be judged according to the following criteria:

- The number of students involved
- The project's potential to make a lasting impact on students
- How the program relates to classroom instruction
- The ability to replicate the project for future use
- Cost effectiveness

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Any employee of a public, private, charter or parochial school, grades K-12 in Nebraska may apply for Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation grants.

Educators from the same school may submit proposals for different programs.

Applications simply requesting school supplies and equipment (such as computers, art supplies, musical instruments, and furniture) will not be considered.

Grant requests for iPads will not be accepted.

Timeline:
Application Period: January 1, 2019 - October 1, 2019
Recipients notified no later than November 15, 2019
Funds awarded no later than December 15, 2019

Total grant funding may not exceed the total cost of the project. The Cornhusker Motor Club Foundation may grant funding for any portion of the program up to the total cost.

Educators will be notified by telephone, E-mail or by mail, if their grant is selected.

All unused funds must be returned.

Grants will be awarded to the school, not to the individual submitting the application.
