Grants to Climax area, Colorado nonprofits, schools, IHEs and agencies for programs in the areas of education, health and wellness, economic development, transportation, and citizen involvement. A mandatory guidance session will be held November 8, 2016, to which applicants must RSVP by November 3. Funding is intended to support local capacity building, community development and sustainability.

- Organizations with a current and valid 501c3 designation from the IRS (state-level recognition does not qualify, only federally recognized designations
- Schools and school districts with a current and valid NCES number
- Government and municipal entities
- Universities and colleges

Mandatory Guidance Session
Each applicant organization must have a representative participating in this session.

2:00pm - 3:30pm
CMC Timberline Campus
KW Room 401 in the Climax Molybdenum Leadership Building

If a representative is unable to join in person, they will be able to access the Guidance Session from their office via WebEx. Internet connection is required of attendees participating by WebEx. WebEx login details to be provided upon registration.

If you prefer to attend the meeting in person, please be sure to share on your RSVP. In-person capacity is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Applicants MUST RSVP to Nell Wareham at by close of business on Thursday, November 3.

All organizations submitting a CIF application MUST attend a CIF Guidance Session in the community for which you are applying. The guidance session can be attended in person or online through WebEx.

Prior to attending the guidance sessions, organizations MUST:
(1) be registered in Cybergrants (can be done through the link below)
(2) be able to access the online application (can be done through the link below)
(3) verify that the project aligns with the identified community priorities, focus areas and community benefits for the CIF application to which you are applying
