Grants starting at $10,000 to Climax area, Colorado nonprofits, IHEs, and agencies for programs in the areas of community and economic development, education and training, environment, and health and wellness. Submission of an LOI is mandatory and only invited applicants may submit a full proposal. Applicants must operate in Lake, Summit, Chaffee, or/and Eagle Counties.

Grant funds are designated to support projects requesting amounts larger than $10,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicants must be a federally recognized 501c3, unit of government or college/university providing direct service in Lake, Summit, Chaffee, or/and Eagle Counties in Colorado.

Pre-Application Information:

- August 1, 2018: Request for Proposals Process Opens
- October 1, 2018: Letter of Interest and Alignment Due by midnight MST
- November 6, 2018: Notification of Application Invitation
- January 7, 2019: Application Due by midnight MST
- March 1, 2019: Grant Recipients Notified / Announced
- March 2020: Impact Report Due

Applicants who are best aligned with the priorities of the RFP and identified Community Priorities will be invited to submit a full proposal. Invited applicants will be provided a link to the online application to submit a full proposal through the Foundation’s on-line grants management system.

A separate cash or in-kind investment equal to at least 10% of the proposed program budget is highly encouraged. Applicants that can leverage 25% or greater cash and/or in-kind match will receive additional /priority consideration (via a weighted score in the scoring rubric that will be used).
