Grants to Carter County, Oklahoma teachers at public elementary or secondary schools to attend conferences and meetings for professional development. Funding may be used to cover travel, lodging, and event registration. Priority will be given to teachers who are first-time attendants to their conference.

Applicants must currently be employed by a public school district in Carter County, Oklahoma.

Applicants must currently be teaching in an elementary or secondary classroom.

Applicants must have at least two years of teaching experience in Oklahoma prior to the conference or meeting for which this grant will be used.

Applicants who have previously received an OFE grant for professional development are not eligible to reapply for three years.

Applications must be postmarked on or before the November 10, 2016 deadline.
