Request a Grant Writer

Grants of up to $2,000 to individual educators for personalized learning technology projects. Applicants must be members of the funding source. Funding is intended for creative uses of instructional technology and to develop digital learning skills that will improve overall student achievement. Grants may be used for software, apps, hardware, or peripherals needed to complete the program.

Up to $2,000 per grant is offered.

All MSET members are eligible to apply for a grant if their membership is paid as of December 1, 2016.

Membership information:

Only one grant application will be accepted per school.

Grant funds may not be used for salaries, curriculum development, student prizes, scholarships, conference attendance, field trips, consumables, or the technology infrastructure of a school.

Grant recipients will be asked to create an iLearn Maryland course, through iTunes University, on the topic of their grant proposal. Once approved for the grant, winners will receive guidance on creating an iTunes U course.
