Awards of $3,500 to West Virginia and Wyoming teachers of grades K-12, including vocational, special education, and Title 1 teachers, to recognize their outstanding achievements in the classroom. Awards are intended to honor exceptional teachers who have supported their students and inspired them to succeed.


Teachers of grades K-12, including Vocational, Special Education and Title 1, in West Virginia and Wyoming are eligible.

The nominee must be an active, full-time teacher with at least three years of experience.

Teachers may be nominated by students, peers, and members of their community.

Nominated teachers must fill out an application form, and a judging committee (comprised of past winners and others from the educational community) will review applications and select the winners.
