Media Match Ups:
Technology is an ever-evolving event that challenges our capacity to meet the benefits of its creative potential. And often, there is no greater benefit than learning from peers. Media Match Ups encourage organizational staff to travel, site visit, see what others are doing, and how they are talking about it. The Media Arts Assistance Fund (MAAF), a NYSCA EMF/Wave Farm Partnership provides organizations with up to $500 in funding to support travel expenses related to a professional visit to a peer media arts organization anywhere in New York State. This opportunity is available to NYS Media Arts Organizations and does not impact eligibility for additional support from MAAF in the same fiscal year.
For implementation projects, requests must be made in conjunction with a thorough planning process. Implementation requests are not a priority and will be considered on a case by case basis.
GrantWatch ID#: 176725

Multi-disciplinary organizations are eligible to submit requests for support, but should do so only for organizational and professional development projects that specifically address their media arts programs. Applications from multi-disciplinary organizations will be considered on a case-by-case basis, but are not a MAAF priority.
