Grants ranging from $500 to $5,000 to Louisiana, Kansas, Missouri, and Oklahoma full-time preK-12 teachers for projects that promote student achievement through the creative use of technology. Applications are invited from teachers in Ouachita Parish, Louisiana; Johnson County, Kansas; St. Louis County, Missouri; and Tulsa County, Oklahoma.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Grant requests should range from $500 - $5,000.

Term of Contract:

Grant funds should be spent and equipment should be in place for the beginning of the 2018- 2019 school year. Recipients are required to submit an accounting of the funds used along with all receipts by September 15, 2018.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Applicant must be a full-time classroom teacher in a PreK-12 classroom in a public, private or charter school located in a CenturyLink residential service area or one of the following locations:

-Ouachita Parish, Louisiana
-Johnson County, Kansas
-St. Louis County, Missouri
-Tulsa County, Oklahoma

The applicant must be the teacher who will be executing the grant and using the requested items in their classroom.

Applications should not be submitted by principals, grant writers, technology coordinators, school-board members, PTOs, parents or anyone other than the teacher that will be executing the grant.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications will be accepted from October 1, 2017 until January 12, 2018 by midnight (Eastern).

Grant recipients will be notified with a surprise check presentation in their schools between April 1 and May 15, 2018.

All other applicants will receive a decline email on May 16, 2018.
