Berks County Community Foundation (BCCF) - Power of the Purse in Berks County Fund
Grants totaling $30,000 to Berks County, Pennsylvania organizations for programs that will guide women and girls on the path to employment and economic self-sufficiency. Initiatives may focus on women's empowerment, self-esteem, and building life skills. Eligible programs will help break the cycle of poverty by eliminating or addressing barriers for Berks County girls and/or women who want to enter or re-enter the workforce or seek the education they need to do so.

Eligible applicants are organizations in Berks County, Pennsylvania that help women and girls discover or navigate their way to gainful employment and self-sufficiency.
Berks County Community Foundation employees, board members and/or committee members are not eligible to apply for or be nominated for a personal grant offered by Berks County Community Foundation, nor are their immediate family members.
Applications are due on January 20, 2019.
Committee members will conduct site visits as appropriate in March and April and recommend which proposals to fund in April.
Final grant decisions will be made in late April, with funds available after May 15.
