West Asheville Garden Stroll (WAGS)
Grants of up to $300 to West Asheville, North Carolina community groups, neighbor collaborations, schools, businesses, faith communities, and youth groups for community landscaping and beautification projects. Eligible projects are those utilizing edible landscaping, and that strive to beautify community areas such as boulevard strips, traffic islands, storefronts, community gardens, and schools.
Projects must be community oriented (not for individual home beautification), visible to the community, and within the area bounded by Patton Ave/Smokey Park Highway, I-40, and the French Broad River. The Foundation encourages plantings that support pollinators.

Each year WAGS offers up to eight grants.
WAGS offers grants of up to $300 each.
WAGS is providing seed money to ordinary citizens, community groups, neighbor collaborations, faith communities, schools, businesses, and youth groups.
Grant applications are due on January 31st of the year in which the proposed project is to be completed. Applicants will be notified by March 1st and a simple report about the project (with in process and final outcome photos) is due August 15th. Grantees must be willing to allow use of photos and project descriptions in WAGS publicity materials.
