Topeka Community Foundation - Kansas Book Festival (KBF)
Grants of up to $2,500 and grants of up to $5,000 to Kansas public and school libraries for the purchase of technology and books. Preference will be given to libraries that demonstrate greater financial need. Applicants should identify their needs and demonstrate how the grant money would help meet the needs identified.

There will be at least (1) one Technology Grant and at least (2) Book Funding Grants.
The technology grant will be no more than $5,000.
The book funding grants will be no more than $2,500.
For technology grants, applicants are required to detail brief timeline that would ensure expending these funds within a calendar year of receiving your funding.
To apply for one of the grants, you must be either a public library or school library located in Kansas. You may apply for both the Technology and Book Funding grants, but no library will be awarded both grants in the same calendar year.
Libraries are also not eligible to be awarded a grant from the Kansas Book Festival in consecutive years.
Grant applications must be postmarked by December 31. Grant winners will be notified by March 31, 2017.
