Memphis Jewish Federation - Lemsky Endowment Fund
Scholarships to Memphis, Tennessee high school juniors and seniors to attend a teen program in Israel. Funding is intended to foster bonds between the Memphis Jewish community and Israel. Successful applicants are expected to contribute to the community through volunteer service prior to receiving the grant money.

All rising Jewish high school juniors and seniors who live in Memphis and have not previously received a Lemsky grant for Israel travel while in high school.
Additional limited financial needs-based assistance may be available. Please contact MJF for a financial aid application.
TIE participants will contribute 15 hours of service to the Jewish community. These hours may be fulfilled in any of Memphis’ Jewish service agencies, congregations, schools and youth groups. Hours performed in the broader Memphis community may count if they are completed under the auspices of a Jewish organization. These hours must be completed before funds will be disbursed.
TIE participants will attend a pre-trip Israel Orientation Session in the spring of 2016. There will be a choice of two session dates. Attendance at one session is mandatory for funds to be disbursed. Session dates are Sunday, April 23, 2017 at 10:00 AM and Monday, May 1, 2017 at 7:00PM.
