Grants to Elmore County, Alabama nonprofit organizations and institutions for programs focusing on families, including health and medical needs, nutrition and wellness, and to support education programs. Funding is also available to local high schools to support arts programs.

Nonprofit organizations meeting needs through Family Wellness (Family, Food and Medical) and Education may apply for any of the following ECCF grants:

Elmore County Community Foundation Community Trust Grant
This grant shall be used to support a nonprofit organization improving the quality of life through Family Wellness (family, food, and medical) and Education in Elmore County.

Nonprofit organizations may submit one ECCF Community Trust Grant application for a maximum award of $2,500.

Elmore County Community Foundation Field of Interest Grant
Margaret & Auston Bridges Fund for Arts in Education
This grant is to be used for arts programs or art program participants at Wetumpka and Holtville High Schools. The funds may be used to: 1) underwrite costs associated with expanding students’ knowledge or refining their performance skills (e.g. registration fees, travel expenses to competitions, scholarship auditions, etc.); 2) purchase tools or equipment to enhance students’ arts education experiences (e.g. band equipment, art supplies, theatre sets, etc.) Priority will be given to individual student needs.

Wetumpka and Holtville High Schools may submit one Margaret & Auston Bridges Fund for Arts in Education application.

Estimated Size of Grant:

Nonprofit organizations may submit one ECCF Community Trust Grant application for a maximum award of $2,500.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Elmore County Community Foundation Community Trust Grant applications are accepted from nonprofit organizations.

Wetumpka and Holtville High Schools may submit one Margaret & Auston Bridges Fund for Arts in Education application. These funds may not be used for improvements to the physical structure of the arts facilities, for administrative purposes, or for professional development of the faculty.

CACF or its affiliates do not fund:

- Individuals
- Annual fundraising drives, events or marketing campaigns
- Religious purposes (although we do support educational and social service programs offered by faith-based organizations)
- Endowments
- Research
- Partisan political advocacy
- Regular operating support or capital projects
- Sponsorship of fundraising events
- Start-up costs

Pre-Application Information:

Applications may be submitted online only. No paper applications will be accepted.
