Grant Description

Grants of up to $10,000 to Missouri nonprofit organizations for programs and services to benefit the community in eligible locations. Funding is intended to support a wide range of activities to enhance the lives of local residents. Eligible proposals are those that support St. Louis City residents.

Eligibility:

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Grants are awarded to nonprofits whose programs and services improve the quality of life for St. Louis City residents.

Community partners/grantees must be in good standing (reporting must be current) for funding consideration.

Ineligible:

Community partners/grantees that were awarded a 2021 Responsive Grant and a 2022 Responsive Grant are not eligible to apply in 2023 (received funding for two consecutive years). TIP: Did your organization receive a Responsive Grant in 2021? Did your organization receive a Responsive Grant in 2022? If your answer is yes to BOTH questions, then the agency is not eligible to apply in 2023.

Pre-proposal Conference:

The SLPO is hosting a free grantwriting workshop “Setting Your Organization Up for Success: Strategies to Develop a Quality Grant Proposal” on December 14, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Organizations can register by clicking on the registration link located under the Capacity Building tab on the Full Grant Text RFP link.

Pre-Application Information:

Applications be received by the St. Louis Philanthropic Organization’s office by 4:30 p.m. on Friday, February 3, 2023.

Only one request can be submitted per organization.
