Grants of up to $2,500 to Washington, DC nonprofit organizations, schools, and neighborhood groups for programs and projects that benefit residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood. Funding will be provided for proposals that specifically address the areas of children's education (i.e., programs in schools as well as summer and after-school tutoring and mentoring), social services, arts, culture, and neighborhood beautification and community building.
On occasion, awards of more than $2,500 are made for projects of particular merit. Each Fall, one $5,000 "Bill Phillips Grant" is made to support social service work.

The Capitol Hill Community Foundation awards grants to nonprofit organizations, schools, and other neighborhood groups in support of programs and projects that benefit residents of the Capitol Hill neighborhood.
Grants are awarded in November and May each year. The corresponding grant submission deadlines are in September and March each year.
Next Spring Grant Due Date: Monday, March 26, 2018 by 6:00 PM.
