Grants to New York high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors from the Syracuse metropolitan area for organized trips to Israel. Funding is intended to encourage teens to travel to Israel and explore their Jewish identity. Trips are typically organized by national or international Jewish youth organizations and must be approved by the Federation to be funded.

Applicants must have completed at least the 10th grade of a Jewish education program or expect to complete it by Spring 2017.

The Israel Experience Grant Program is a local program that is supported by the Estate of the late Helen Millstein.

Students must be current high school students and have completed at least the 10th grade of a Jewish education program or expect to complete it by Spring 2017. This can be done through the Federation-supported Epstein High School of Jewish Studies or the equivalent.
