Request a Grant Writer

Grants to New York high school sophomores, juniors, and seniors from the Central region for organized trips to Israel. Funding is intended to encourage teens to travel to Israel and explore their Jewish identity. Trips are typically organized by national or international Jewish youth organizations and must be approved by the Federation to be funded.

Applicants must have completed at least the 10th grade of a Jewish education program or expect to complete it by Spring 2019.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

Students must be current high school students and have completed at least the 10th grade of a Jewish education program or expect to complete it by Spring 2019. This can be done through the Federation-supported Epstein High School of Jewish Studies or the equivalent.

The Jewish Federation of Central New York serves families residing within the 13000, 13100, and 13200 zip code areas.

Deadline for submission of all paperwork is Monday, April 1, 2019 by Noon.
