Awards to Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia business professionals under the age of 40 to recognize outstanding leadership and success within the Washington region. Nominations are invited on behalf of men and women representing all industries who have made a difference in their community or profession over the past 12 to 18 months.
Nominees should work for a business or organization based in D.C. or one of the following jurisdictions:
-City of Alexandria, Va.
-City of Falls Church, Va.
-Arlington County, Va.
-Fairfax County, Va.
-Loudoun County, Va.
-Prince William County, Va.
-Montgomery County, Md.
-Prince George's County, Md.
Nominations will be judged on professional accomplishments, community leadership, and awards and milestones. These three areas should be addressed in the nomination.

Eligible nominees must live and work in the region and be under the age of 40 as of July 26, 2018.
Nominees must be residents of the Washington area and employed in the region. They should be established business leaders with a strong record of innovation in their fields, outstanding performance in business and/or a clear track record of meaningful community involvement.
Self-nominations are welcome.
In addition to the online form, a high-resolution, 300 dpi, professional quality digital photo (headshot) of the nominee must be submitted.
Nominations should include as much detail as possible about a nominee's specific business and community accomplishments. We're looking for real tangible results. "She increased the company's sales last year by 40 percent, bringing in AOL and Nextel as new clients." Or, "He raised an additional $500,000 to help send 20 more kids to college."
All submissions must be received no later than March 26 at midnight.
Winners will also be required to attend the awards event. Please do not nominate business owners or leaders who will be on vacation or who have prior commitments during the timeframe of the event.
