Grants to Tulsa, Oklahoma nonprofits for general operating expenses or support for a capital campaign. Funding is intended to support organizations in the metropolitan Tulsa area dedicated to arts and culture, Jewish causes, children's issues, higher education, educational challenges faced by children at all grade levels, or advocacy and support for the mentally ill.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

- The Maxine and Jack Zarrow Family Foundation gives primarily in the Tulsa area (and Israel) with very few exceptions.
- The Zarrow Foundations only give to nonprofit entities as defined by the IRS under Code ยง501(c)(3) and not to individuals.
- The Zarrow Foundations require that all nonprofit entities receiving grants adhere to an Equal Employment Opportunity statement that includes non-discrimination regardless of age, gender, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, disability, national origin, political affiliation, or religious belief.

Pre-Application Information:

Potential applicants are invited to email the Executive Director of Foundations, Bill Major, with prospective proposals prior to submission. It is particularly recommended to contact him to discuss any capital campaign request prior to submitting the on-line application. Please be sure to indicate the request for a general response to the proposal, and know that interest in the proposed project does not guarantee funding.

The Maxine and Jack Zarrow Family Foundation meets on a quarterly basis, usually in February, May, September, and November. Every proposal receives a firm response, either favorable or unfavorable. For answers to specific questions about the response received, applicants may email Bill Major.

The due dates for the Maxine and Jack Zarrow Family Foundation are April 15, July 15, and October 15.

For applicants that are awarded a grant, funding will be issued as follows:
The Maxine and Jack Zarrow Family Foundation will send a paper check and letter via the U.S. Postal Service.
