Grants ranging from $100 to $750 to Vermont nonprofit organizations and public schools to benefit communities primarily within the funding source’s service territory. Focus areas include energy education, economic security, community development, and emergency or disaster relief.

Eligible recipients are nonprofit tax-exempt organizations and/or public schools.
Preference is given to organizations operating in the VEC service territory:
Individuals are not eligible, but funds may pass through eligible organizations to support individual needs.
VEC accepts applications on a rolling basis, and the VEC Allocation Committee reviews applications quarterly. Allocation decisions are made within two weeks of the close of the quarter. Distributions are made within thirty days of the close of the quarter.
Organizations interested in being considered for a grant should complete and submit an on-line application by the close of business on the following dates: December 31, March 31, June 30, and September 30.
