Grants to Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa, and Oklahoma nonprofit organizations for programs and initiatives that address important health care issues. To be eligible for grant funding, proposed programs and projects must focus on improving patient safety, quality of care, reducing medical errors, and improving disease management and transitions in care.

Funding will specifically be provided for proposals that focus on the following:

- The education and training of health care professionals
- Development, implementation, or changes in health care-related systems, tools, and processes that improve outcomes
- Pilot programs designed to improve medicine

The Foundation does not provide ongoing grant support. Once approved for funding, your organization will be eligible for funding again after three years.

Organizations seeking funding must qualify as exempt under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Activities must have a primary impact in Colorado, Nebraska, Iowa or Oklahoma.

COPIC Medical Foundation does not fund the following:

- Ongoing general operating costs
- Political organizations, campaigns and lobbying efforts
- Religious organizations
- Endowment campaigns
- Societies and fraternal organizations
- Telephone solicitation
- Construction or repair of facilities
- Capital campaigns
- Projects that benefit individual applicants or serve a limited audience

2017 Deadlines:
April 1st
September 1st

Please note that the foundation does not provide on-going grant support. Once approved for funding, your organization will be eligible for funding again after three years.
