E-470 Transportation Safety Foundation

Grants of $2,500 to Colorado nonprofit organizations and government agencies for programs that promote transportation safety, public safety, driver education, charitable giving, and other educational objectives. These grants are intended to support a wide range of education and awareness initiatives throughout the State and along the E-470 corridor.

Each year the E-470 Transportation Safety Foundation awards up to eight grants.
Transportation safety grants are provided to nonprofit organizations and tax-exempt government entities along the E-470 corridor and throughout the state of Colorado.
Funding support is not provided to the following:
- Individuals, political parties, candidates, or partisan political organizations
- Labor organizations, fraternal organizations, athletic clubs, or social clubs
- Sectarian or denominational religious organizations
- Fundraising events such as membership drives, luncheons, dinners, and tournaments
- Sports leagues or teams
- Any organization deemed inappropriate at the discretion of the foundation board of directors
Deadline for organizations to submit grant applications is Thursday, March 21, 2019 at 5:00 p.m. The Transportation Safety Foundation board will select and notify grant recipients in April 2019. Grant funds will be distributed at the Grant Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 30, 2019.
