Georgia Association for Women Lawyers (GAWL) Foundation
Grants ranging from $500 to $2,000 to Georgia nonprofit organizations that provide free services to underserved women and girls. Priority will be given to organizations that provide legal services to this population. These grants are best suited to smaller organizations that will benefit from grants of this scale.
Specifically, the order of priority for grantmaking is:
- Organizations that provide free legal services to disadvantaged women and girls.
- Organizations that provide free services to disadvantaged women and girls in the legal system.
- Organizations that provide free services to disadvantaged women and girls.

Typically, GAWL Foundation grants range from $500 to $2,000.
The Foundation will not fund organizations that are not 501(c)(3) organizations. Applicants must attach a copy of 501(c)(3) exemption letter from the IRS.
The Foundation does not provide funds to be used for propaganda, lobbying activities or the election of public officials.
The Foundation does not participate in the establishment of or addition to endowments, or respond to mass appeal solicitations.
The Grants Committee evaluates applications for grants twice a year. The deadline for applications for the current grant cycle is April 12, 2019.
