Grant Description
Prizes of $4,000 to USA, Canada, and International institutions and individuals for projects that combine digital technology and history. The purpose of the award program is to support already existing creative projects that are open to the public. Eligible projects will demonstrate thoughtful, critical, and rigorous engagement with technology and the practice of history. The prize recipient(s) will be expected to apply awarded funds toward the advancement of the project goals.

Additional Eligibility Criteria
The prize will be conferred on a project that has been launched in the last two years and is publicly available.

The institutions and individuals involved with the project must be mentioned in the nomination packet.

Pre-Application Information
Please Note: Entries must be received by May 15, 2023, to be eligible for the 2023 competition. Entries will not be returned. Recipients will be announced on the AHA website in October 2023 and recognized during a ceremony at the January 2024 AHA annual meeting in San Francisco.

Estimated Size of Grant
The prize funds total $4,000.
