Prizes starting at $100 to USA and international youth teams ages 4-18 to help solve a real life problem. Students will enter a competition and present innovative ideas on improving personal health through wellness and healing. This annual competition inspires youth from around the world to use creativity, kindness, and collaboration to make a difference in the world.

All types of ideas are welcomed, including posters, videos, inventions, public messages, community events, websites, mobile apps, or anything else that will help improve personal health.

A blue-ribbon panel of judges will evaluate entries based on effectiveness, feasibility, originality, presentation, and collaboration. In addition to the prize money, Project Paradigm intends to provide further support to help turn winning ideas into real-world solutions.

The top 100 teams will win cash prizes from $100 to the $100,000 Grand Prize. Project Paradigm will select a First Place ($10,000), Second Place ($2,000), and Third Place winner ($1,000) in each of the following three age divisions:

Division 1: Ages 4 to 8
Division 2: Ages 9 to 13
Division 3: Ages 14 to 18

- Up to 4 members from the top 3 teams will also receive a 4-day/3-night trip to Los Angeles to attend The Paradigm Challenge Prize Ceremony.
- All Finalist team members also will receive an official Finalist t-shirt.

In addition, the winners from the public voting competition will win prizes ranging from $100 to $5,000.

Estimated Size of Grant:

-Grand Prize (1): $100,000 per team
-First Place Prizes (2): 10,000 per team
-Second Place Prizes (3): $2,000 per team
-Third Place Prize (1): $1,000 per team.
-Finalist Prizes: (91): $100-$1,000 per team

Up to four team members from each First Place and Grand Prize team (and a parent or guardian for each such team member) will receive a 4-day/3-night trip to Los Angeles to attend The Paradigm Challenge Prize Ceremony worth approximately $2,500 per person.

In addition, the winners from the public voting competition will win prizes ranging from $100 to $5,000.

Additional Eligibility Criteria:

The Challenge is open only to individuals who: (a) will be aged 4 to 18 years old on May 1, 2018; (b) have their parents’/legal guardians’ permission to participate in The Challenge; and (c) are NOT residents of Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Sudan, Syria, the Crimea Region, or any other United States sanctioned country.

The following individuals are not eligible to enter or win The Challenge: current or former (within the immediately preceding 12 months) employees, officers, directors, and contractors of Project Paradigm, Skild, Sensis Agency, and File Mobile, and anyone involved in the administration of The Challenge (including judges), and any member of the immediate family (i.e., a child or grandchild) or household of any of the foregoing individuals.

There is no minimum or maximum team size. While Sponsor encourages each Participant to join a team and collaborate with other Participants, single person teams are permitted.

Participants are permitted to be members of more than one team and teams are permitted to submit more than one entry. Participants who are on multiple teams and/or who are members of teams who submit multiple entries are eligible to win more than one cash prize.
