Grants of up to $25,000 to Florida nonprofit organizations, government agencies, and schools for social service programs that benefit local communities. Funding is intended to support intervention programs for at-risk youth and children and other human services that benefit at-risk families, individuals, and the elderly. Eligible programs benefit the residents of Lake County.
Funding may be requested under the following two programs:
Children's Services Council (CSC): Prevention and/or intervention programs that serve at-risk children. This may include:
Human Services (HS): Prevention and/or intervention programs that serve at-risk individuals, elders, and families. This may include:
The “need statement” should clearly identify a community need consistent with the funding priorities listed above.
Funds may be used for direct services only that could include:
Applicants must demonstrate a sufficient level of administrative capacity to effectively manage funds received.

The maximum request for CSC and HS Grants is $25,000. The minimum request amount is $5,000.
The grant period will be the County’s Fiscal Year from October 1, 2021, through September 30, 2022. Funds awarded must be expended by September 30, 2022.
